Terms of Service

1. Description of Services

Hala operates a digital platform that enables individuals and families (“Families”) to connect with domestic service providers such as nannies, housekeepers, and caregivers (“Nannies”). The platform allows Families to post jobs, browse profiles, and receive applications from Nannies.

Hala is not a staffing agency and does not participate in hiring decisions. We do not impose fees or receive compensation for the outcome of any employment or independent contractor arrangement established between Families and Nannies. We are not a party to any such relationship.

2. Eligibility

• You are at least 18 years old;
• If you are a Service Provider, you acknowledge the independent nature of the hiring process and Hala’s non-involvement;
• You have not been convicted or accused of offenses related to violence, abuse, fraud, or any crimes requiring sex offender registration.

3. User Accounts

To access the platform, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Fees

Some Services require a fee. All fees are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

5. Personal Information

Use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described therein.

6. Content and Use

• Use the Services for your personal use only
• Refrain from posting false, defamatory, or illegal content
• Not violate the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

7. Use License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform is owned or licensed by Hala and protected by U.S. and international laws. You may not copy, distribute, or use any materials without our prior written consent.

9. Trademarks

All trademarks, service marks, and trade names associated with Hala are proprietary to us. No rights or licenses are granted to you without our explicit consent.

10. Use Restrictions

You agree to comply with all applicable laws. You may not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

If you observe misconduct or policy violations, report them to support@halananny.com.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HALA HLDG, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We are not liable for any disputes, damages, or obligations arising out of the relationship between Families and Nannies.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hala and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

14. Miscellaneous

• Language: These Terms are drafted in English.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms at our discretion.
• Modifications: We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance.
• External Links: The platform may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
